Sauna, Steam Room & Spas

This therapeutic area is the perfect place to relax and recover after a workout in the pool, Fitness Centre or one of our popular Group Fitness classes. You can relax in one of our 16-person spas, sauna or European-style steam room!

The Sauna, Steam Room and Spa are for adults only, and employ the strictest measures to ensure high standards of safety and hygiene.

There are many therapeutic benefits from using the ambient heat of saunas and steam rooms. It relaxes sore and tired muscles, and is the perfect way to start the day or to relax at the end of a hard day or after a workout. The Sauna and Steam room help assist the skin pores to open and sweat, allowing the body to eliminate toxins from the system.

The Steam Room is the first of its kind in Australia, and the unit was imported from Sweden. It has an inbuilt automatic cleaning and disinfection system guaranteeing a hygienic environment, and seats 28 people. The set point is 45 degrees celcius.

The Sauna is constructed from western red cedar and seats approximately 30 people. It is a dry air sauna which does not require water to be added to hot rocks. The temperature is maintained at 80 degrees.

Usage of the sauna, steam room and spas is included in general admission prices.
