School Holiday Fun Program

The School Holiday Fun Program is a fun and active program for children aged 5 to 12 years. The program is held in a safe environment and is tailor made to suit these age groups.

The program is held on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays during school holidays. Each session runs from 9am-1pm with the exception of the two weeks around Christmas and New Year.

Activities Schedule

With a maximum of 20 children, the 4-hour sessions consist of the following activities:

• Out of water activities, approx 2 hrs
• In the water activities, approx 1.5 hrs
• Lunch break, approx 30 mins

Activities are run by fitness instructors and assisted by a team of staff from the Centre. The activities are group games structured around promoting physical activity and team work.

Different timetables are drawn each week depending on the age groups present with activities such as noodle races, all over red rover, and stuck in the mud.

Meals

All children participating in the program are provided with lunch on the day.

The lunch menu includes:

• Hot chips
• Fairy bread
• Fresh fruit
• Cordial

Bonus

A free day pass will be issued for one parent to use the Fitness Centre or the pool while their children are participating in the School Holiday Fun Program.

What You Need To Bring

1. Labelled water bottle
2. Bathers
3. Towel
4. Comfortable clothing and shoes
