Find the right pool to meet your swimming needs

We have three main pools at Adelaide Aquatic Centre, so no matter your swimming tastes, we've got something for you. All our pools are heated to a minimum 29 degrees (reaching 31° in our leisure pool), and are open all year round.

Make sure you check out our Opening Hours if you're after access to a certain area of the Centre.

Main Pool

The Main Pool is the perfect space for you to swim laps or spend some time in the water.

The pool is split into two 25m sections so we can guarantee a minimum of four lanes for lap swimming at the times listed below.

Please note, 50m lap swimming is currently unavailable. You can swim laps in our 33m Dive Pool at the times listed here.

Dive Pool

The Dive Pool is perfect for recreational swimming and leisurely lap swimming at various times during the day.

Our standard availability for this pool is shown below however this may change at any time without notice. If you are specifically looking to utilise the Dive Pool during your visit please contact our staff directly who can provide you with the most up to date availability on the day of your visit.

Leisure Pool

The Leisure Pool is set up for kids and families to have fun, with slides, shapes, and shallow water. It also has waterslides that are open at specific times throughout the week.

Little kids will have no problems in this pool, which has a max. depth of 0.9m. The pool has accessible lifts to ensure safe access for all.

Please be aware that this pool is used for swimming lessons, during the hours marked 'Swim School' below. The leisure pool is closed to the public during these times.

Day to day changes to scheduled times may occur. You will be asked to leave the pools 15 minutes prior to close.
