About Adelaide Aquatic Centre.
The new Adelaide Aquatic Centre opened on 27 January 2026 and is now open to the community, with all facilities ready to use.
The Centre is a modern place for swimming and fitness, with features that support health and active living for people of all ages and abilities.
There are five pools for lap swimming, relaxing, and group fitness. Whether you want to train, keep active, or simply enjoy the water, there is something for everyone.
The Centre also has a gym with modern equipment and a range of group fitness classes offered throughout the week for all fitness levels.
Families and children can take part in programs and activities such as school programs, swimming lessons, and Aqua Play in the indoor and outdoor play areas for fun water activities.

Adelaide Aquatic Centre is well equipped to cater for people of all abilities including;

- Platform or ramp for entering pools
- Lift access to the gym
- Accessible change rooms
This centre also recognises the invaluable contribution carers make and we participate in the Companion Card scheme. On presentation of their card, individuals with a Companion Card are entitled to free access to this facility, when attending a program or service to assist a person with a disability.

YMCA Aquatic and Event Services Ltd is proud to be in partnership with the State Government of South Australia in the operation of this world class facility.
